Sherine Abdel Wahab at the Police Station Again — Severe Beating and Theft Accusations
Details of recent events involving the Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab:
A few weeks ago, Sherine Abdel Wahab faced a crisis after an audio leak spread from her ex-husband, singer and composer Hossam Habib, in which he spoke about Sherine being robbed by her family. Hossam claimed that Sherine's family was the reason behind her dispute with Rotana, the company producing her new album, and said that his phone had been stolen.
Then, during the recent period, further disputes arose between Sherine and Hossam, as Sherine filed a police report against her ex-husband at the Fifth Settlement police station on charges of assaulting her. According to Egyptian local reports, Sherine accused Hossam of physically assaulting her inside their home, causing her injuries, and also accused him of stealing a sum of money and a mobile phone.
The cause of this dispute was Hossam's intervention to contain a crisis that had erupted between Sherine and one of her two daughters, which led to the situation escalating and Sherine going to the police station to file a report against him. Afterwards, both parties decided to reconcile, as both signed the settlement and Hossam pledged not to approach Sherine again.
After this crisis and the reconciliation of both parties, Sherine Abdel Wahab returned to social media platforms again a few weeks after the incident. She had also previously faced disputes with Rotana, the company producing her new album, in addition to her accusation against her brother of taking over her social media accounts and selling them.
