Apple is preparing to make a new leap in iOS 27 by expanding the use of Apple Intelligence technologies, planning to integrate its Siri voice assistant directly inside the camera app, according to recent reports.

"Siri Mode" Inside the Camera

According to information, Apple will add a new mode called "Siri Mode" alongside traditional shooting modes such as Photo, Video, and Portrait. When activated, the Apple Intelligence logo will appear on the shutter button, meaning AI features are instantly activated during shooting.

Easier Experience with Visual Intelligence

Furthermore, this mode relies on the Visual Intelligence feature, which will become easier to access compared to the current method that requires a long press on the camera button. As a result, users will be able to use visual intelligence quickly and seamlessly while taking photos.

New Practical Features

In the same context, Apple is working to develop visual intelligence capabilities to offer more useful everyday applications, such as:

  • Scanning nutritional values and adding them to the Health app
  • Saving contact information by photographing business cards
  • Converting tickets into digital versions inside the Wallet app

Existing Features Continue Without Change

On the other hand, current features will continue without modification, such as recognizing plants and animals, adding events to the calendar, as well as sending data to services like ChatGPT and Google's image search engine.

Official Announcement Date

In the end, Apple is expected to reveal these updates during the WWDC 2026 conference on June 8, with the features reaching users later this year.
